Corona Opportunity Fund – Angelo Galasso partners with Bervann Foundation
The world is sticking together throughout this unprecedented global emergency, and we are proud to be part of an industry that has rallied towards making a difference, via smaller or larger scale charity programs and initiatives.
From our side we have partnered with New York based Bervann Capital, a leading investment company with a global ecosystem of investors, in supporting their Corona Opportunity Fund.
In March 2020 Bervann decided to devote most of its resources to support its non-profit arm Bervann Foundation and launched the Corona Opportunity Fund, a global initiative aiming to unite companies, celebrities and investors to support local and foreign governments in the fight against the COVID-19 global pandemic.
The COF has three main objectives: distribution of protective equipment to frontline healthcare workers, the elderly and young adults; beating the surge of a second wave through raising awareness and massive government testing; and funding promising Biotech and Pharmaceutical companies towards a vaccine or cure.
On April 30th we sponsored the first Black Tie Online Gala whose mission is to raise funds for COF. The event was attended by Business Executives, Entrepreneurs, Celebrities and Investors all focused on raising funds to fight Covid-19 through the foundation.
We auctioned our spectacular Gold Sequins Blazer. This elegant blazer is made of matte black & gold double-faced sequins fabric, where the color can be changed with a stroke of hand. All details like revers and pockets are in pure black silk. Featuring an outstanding AG crest embroidery on the back. The inside of the blazer is also a tailoring piece of art, with its easy-access four pockets boasting hidden buttons in the same black silk fabric of the jacket itself. The branded lining is in cupro, a regenerated plant-based silk known for its ecological and sustainable production methods.
For the whole month of May all the profits of the sales made from participants to the event will be devolved to the Bervann charity.
