ANGELO GALASSO: A MATTER OF STYLE
Hailed by the Financial Times as 2this generation’s most inventive image-maker” and having had the honour of exhibiting his famous watch-cuff shirt at the London Design Museum, Angelo Galasso continues to set the tone for men’s fashion…
Growing up in Puglia, southern Italy, Angelo Galasso had a passion for design and fashion from an early age. While pursuing a career in finance, he developed his creative side and started designing clothes with a very distinctive style. His shirts, featuring special finishes, imposing collars and imaginative details of rare elegance, would become his signature style.
It was not long before Galasso decided to devote himself solely to fashion and soon became ans established name in the industry. In 1990 Galasso opened his first Interno 8 shop in Rome and with an impressive first collection, Interno 8 soon developed into a franchise network throughout Italy. In 2000 Angelo Galasso decided to expand into the international market and chose London, the trend-setting capital of style, as his launch platform. Determined to captivate London, with his original approach to male fashion, impeccable Italian sartorial expertise combined with modern and originals details, Galasso’s clothes soon attracted a cosmopolitan and avant-garde clientele.
